Sabrina A. Nelson
Sabrina’s practice focuses on representing corporate clients in complex multiparty and multidistrict antitrust cases alleging price-fixing, market allocation, and other anticompetitive conduct in both U.S. and foreign markets. She has represented clients in a variety of industries including financial services, automotive, food and beverage, agriculture, and consumer products. She has additional experience litigating insurance coverage and other commercial disputes.
Sabrina has played a significant role in representing plaintiffs in all stages of the litigation life cycle in some of the country’s largest opt out antitrust cases. She has briefed dozens of complex and novel jurisdictional, discovery, foreign data privacy, and substantive antitrust issues before federal district and appellate courts, has navigated discovery of numerous foreign defendants under the Hague Evidence Convention, and has managed multiple large scale ESI document productions and reviews.
Sabrina is also the Co-Chair of Zelle’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Steering Committee, and in that capacity has taken a firm-wide leadership role in expanding the firm’s long-standing commitment to cultivating and nurturing an inclusive and equitable workplace.
Representative Matters
Represents Freddie Mac and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as Receiver for 38 Closed Banks in In re LIBOR Antitrust Litigation.
Represents the nation’s largest health insurance company in an antitrust matter alleging unlawful pay-for-delay and market share-allocation agreements against manufacturers of a branded pharmaceutical and its generic equivalents.
Principally involved in drafting numerous amicus briefs on behalf of national trade associations for the insurance industry in property insurance coverage disputes arising from Covid-19 pandemic related coverage claims.
Represented dozens of companies, including numerous Fortune 500 companies, that opted out of class actions alleging anticompetitive conduct in the urethanes, corrugated cardboard, bulk vitamins, and food additives industries (In Urethanes Antitrust Litigation; In re Linerboard Antitrust Litigation, and In re Vitamins Antitrust Litigation. In Re Citric Acid Antitrust Litigation).

Community Service
- Sabrina has served on the boards of several local non-profit arts and alumni organizations. Most recently, she was a founding board member of Study Japanese in Arlington, Inc., a grassroots nonprofit organization that promotes the study of the Japanese language and culture in the greater D.C. metropolitan areas.
