Zelle LLP Welcomes Two Attorneys to Dallas Office
April 17, 2024Marsheldondria “Dondria” Johnson and Alexander J. Masotto have joined Zelle’s Dallas, TX office to support its insurance practice.
Dondria, a senior associate, focuses her practice on insurance coverage disputes and first-party property insurance defense litigation. She also has experience in matters involving complex commercial litigation, and general liability coverage and defense.
Prior to joining Zelle, Dondria served as in-house counsel for a Texas-based commercial transportation insurance company, and as staff counsel for one of the country’s largest insurance carriers. She is a graduate of Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she served as Editor-In-Chief, Law Journal on Gender, Race and Justice at Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Alex, an associate, represents global insurance companies surrounding first-party property insurance claims. His practice focuses on researching and providing in-depth analysis on complex insurance claims before and after suit is filed. He also has considerable experience analyzing and advising clients on breach of contract claims, violations of the Texas Insurance Code, and the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Prior to joining Zelle, Alex was an associate at a regional law firm where he advised and represented international insurers relating to specific first-party property insurance claims pre-suit and in litigation.
Alex is a graduate of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and served as the vice president of the Student Bar Association as well as an articles editor for the International Law Review Journal. While in law school, Alex received the 2021 Ben Love Scholarship through the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
Both attorneys are licensed to practice in Texas.
