Judith Zahid Honored With 2023 Hollis Salzman Memorial Leadership Award
September 29, 2023Zelle LLP is pleased to announce that Judith A. Zahid has been selected to receive the 2023 Hollis Salzman Memorial Leadership Award, given by the American Antitrust Institute (AAI) and the Committee to Support the Antitrust Laws (COSAL). Read the full announcement here.
Judith co-chairs Zelle LLP’s Antitrust group, and is Managing Partner of the firm’s Oakland, CA office. In addition to serving her clients, she spends countless hours contributing to bar association efforts, women’s groups, guest teaching in law school classes, and carving out time to make personal connections as a mentor to those around her.
The firm is proud of the work Judith has done to consistently advocate for women lawyers, build female networks within the antitrust bar, and strengthen the diversity of Zelle’s own team of antitrust attorneys. Through her membership in AAI and COSAL, and her active contribution to the leadership of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Section, Judith has been a champion for bringing diverse voices and perspectives into the antitrust bar.

AAI and COSAL created the Hollis Salzman Memorial Leadership Award in 2021 to honor the life of Hollis Salzman, who was one of the nation’s leading antitrust attorneys and an incomparable member of the antitrust community. She was a champion of gender equality and diversity in her profession, embracing her role as a mentor and role model to other female attorneys, and helping to inspire them to shine on their own merit.
Judith will be honored at AAI’s Awards Night on November 2, 2023, in Washington, DC.
