The Spring 2015 issue of The Brief, a publication of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section of the ABA, features an article by Zelle Hofmann partners Brian Odom and Shannon O'Malley, both of the firm's Dallas office, and Timothy Gray, the director of property claims with Argo Group US Inc. in Portland, Oregon. The article, titled "Benefits, Pitfalls, and Trends in Property Insurance Appraisal" provides a general overview of appraisal under a property insurance policy and addresses the benefits, pitfalls, and recent trends in the use of appraisal to resolve disputed property insurance claims.
