Eric Caugh to Serve on Panel Addressing Environmental Insurance and PFAS Concerns

Eric Caugh, a partner in Zelle’s Minneapolis office, will serve on the panel “Environmental Insurance Including PFAS Concerns” as part of the Practising Law Institute’s Property and Casualty Insurance Law 2023 program, October 10, 2023 in New York, NY.

The session will guide participants through complex policy provisions addressing environmental pollution claims and PFAS (forever chemicals) claims. The panel will:

Evaluate coverage issues arising from PFAS
Address when and which occurrences might trigger PFAS-liability coverage
Discuss exclusion provisions and coverage gaps in traditional insurance policies
Demonstrate how to accurately determine “losses” caused by pollution

Eric will be joined on the panel by Summer Craig (Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP), Nicholas Insua (Reed Smith LLP) and James (Jim) Davis (Perkins Coie).
