James Robertson Martin to Present on ABA Section of Antitrust Law Panel: Are ACPERA Benefits Obtainable?
June 10, 2020James Robertson Martin, a partner in the Washington, DC office of Zelle and co-chair of the Firm’s Antitrust group, will be a panelist on a program titled “Gimme a Break: Are ACPERA Benefits Obtainable?” The program will be hosted by the American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Law and will take place on June 10, 2020 at 12 p.m. EDT.
With Congress considering whether to extend or amend ACPERA in 2020, and DOJ seeking input on ACPERA’s effectiveness, this timely program will reflect on ACPERA’s successes and challenges in cartel damages actions from the perspective of plaintiffs and defendants. A panel of experts will consider potential changes to the statute.
