Judith Zahid to Co-chair and Present at ABA’s Global Private Litigation Conference
June 17, 2019Judith Zahid, managing partner of Zelle’s San Francisco office and co-chair of the Firm's Antitrust group, will co-chair and present at the American Bar Association’s second Global Private Litigation Conference. The conference will take place in Berlin on June 16-17, 2019.
Zahid co-chairs the conference with Scott Martin of Hausfeld. She will also moderate a panel on “Thinking Critically About Pass-On and Contribution.” The panel which also includes Dina Older Aguilar of Cornerstone, and Christopher Bellamy of Linklaters, will examine the issues of pass-on and contribution, of cy press relief as policy, of remoteness concerns in EU private damage litigation, of the US answers in Illinois Brick and Associated General Contractors, and of the EU’s Principle of Effectiveness versus compensation for all injured.
