Zelle Attorneys to Present at 2017 PLRB Claims Conference
March 29, 2017Zelle LLP partners Thomas Caswell and Seth Jackson will present at the 2017 PLRB Claims Conference, which will take place March 26-29, 2017 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Caswell, a partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office, will co-present on the topic “Cyber Risks: Trends & Exposures.” During the session, Caswell and co-presenter David Llorens of RSM will:
- Identify the trends in hacking activity
- Describe the evolving cyber exposures faced by different industries
- Explore the advances in ethical hacking, penetration testing and other methods of protection
Jackson, a partner in Zelle’s Boston office, will co-present on “Mediation: Maximizing the Process” with Joseph Berman of The Mediation Group, and David Royal of Liberty Mutual Insurance. For this session, the presenters will:
- Differentiate mediation, appraisal, and arbitration
- Identify the factors in a dispute that would make it proper for mediation
- Analyze the mechanics of setting up, preparing, participating, and properly concluding a mediation
