Jerry McElroy and Kristin Suga Heres to Serve as MReBA Symposium Panelists
October 8, 2015Jerry McElroy and Kristin Suga Heres, attorneys in the Boston office of Zelle Hofmann, will serve as panelists at the Massachusetts Reinsurance Bar Association’s (MReBA) Seventh Annual Symposium titled “Reshaping Reinsurance.” The symposium will take place on Thursday, October 8 at the Harvard Club of Boston.
McElroy will serve as Moderator and Co-Coordinator for a panel offering “A Fresh Perspective on Mediation of Reinsurance Disputes.” This panel will address the role mediation may play in the resolution of reinsurance disputes and will include a mock mediation of a reinsurance dispute with an internationally recognized writer and speaker on mediation.
Heres will participate in an interactive workshop that will examine the use of Insurance-Linked Securities products in the context of a data breach scenario, with attendees assuming the roles of an insured, a ceding carrier, a reinsurer, and various bond investors.
