Jason Reeves to Present to LMA Academy Master Class on Onshore Energy Claims Issues

On September 17, 2015, Jason Reeves, a partner of Zelle International, will co-present an LMA Academy master class titled “An Introduction to Onshore Energy Claims Issues.” This session is the first in a series of four master classes that will give an in-depth insight into the issues related to the handling of onshore energy claims. The sessions will be structured into three main topics spread across the four sessions and will run through the lifecycle of a risk: placement issues; adjustment issues; and dispute resolution.

The speakers in the first session will lead attendees through placement issues of an onshore energy loss, paying particular attention to attention to:

deferred maintenance
market observations
the role of Lloyd’s in onshore energy
wording issues.

Joining Reeves for the presentation will be Andrew Schutte, Partner, Hill Dickinson LLP, and Rob Powell, Managing Director - International Advocacy, Marsh.
