Judith Zahid to Present on Opt-Out Litigation to ABA Section of Antitrust Law
February 25, 2015Judith Zahid, a Partner in Zelle Hofmann's San Francisco office, will present regarding opt-out litigation to the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law. The presentation will be held via teleconference from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern on February 25, 2015.
Zahid, whose practice specializes in litigating antitrust and other complex claims, will participate in a panel titled, “Opt-Out Litigation: Practical Considerations for Corporate and Outside Counsel.” The panel will analyze the factors companies should consider when deciding whether to opt out and practical considerations for corporate and outside counsel in effectively managing opt-out litigation (e.g., selecting counsel, litigating efficiently in multi-plaintiff cases, managing relationships with class counsel, and maximizing recoveries). The panel will provide a unique viewpoint of these issues from the plaintiff, defense, and corporate counsel sides.
