Jason Reeves to Present LMA Academy Master Class on Litigating in English and U.S. Jurisdictions
October 10, 2014On October 10, 2014, Jason Reeves, of Zelle Hofmann’s London office, will co-present an LMA Academy master class titled, “Litigating in English and U.S. Jurisdictions: What you need to know.” Joining Reeves for this presentation will be Andrew Schütte, Partner, Hill Dickinson.
This master class will examine the key features of litigating in England and in U.S. jurisdictions, including: choosing legal counsel; disclosure and privilege; witness evidence; experts; costs; courts; and appeals.
The presentation will also compare and contrast litigation procedure and culture in English and U.S. jurisdictions.
This is a practical session with an emphasis on traps, tips and guidance on what works and what doesn’t, both in the Commercial Court in London and in courtrooms around the U.S.
