Jason Reeves to Present LMA Academy Master Class on Steps to Effective Mediation
September 10, 2014On September 10, 2014, Jason Reeves, of Zelle Hofmann’s London office, will co-present an LMA Academy master class titled, ”Steps to Effective Mediation – Mediation Theatre.” Joining Reeves for this presentation will be Dr. Karl Mackie CBE, CEDR, and Eileen Carroll QC Hon, CEDR. Attendees of this master class will be given a unique opportunity to witness a mock-mediation and be guided through by two of the most senior mediators, each with over 25 years' experience of mediating insurance-related disputes.
By seeing a case study mediation unfold in theatre style, participants will:
- understand how the mediation process works
- watch the dynamics of the various roles of the attendees, including that of the insurer/client
- get tips through commentary and a Q&A session on 'how to get the best outcome from mediation'
The goal of the LMA Academy is to raise the profile of education in the Lloyd's market. This is delivered through a series of modular programs, workshops, master classes and alumni events that support learning and career development.
