Nabila Rahim
Nabila is an associate in Zelle’s Ft. Lauderdale, FL office, where she represents insurance companies throughout Florida in insurance coverage and first-party property insurance defense litigation. Prior to joining Zelle, Nabila was an associate at a Ft. Lauderdale-based insurance defense firm.
Nabila has experience practicing commercial litigation matters and insurance-related matters. She has represented insurance companies in property damage and breach of contract claims, represented shareholders in actions involving claims of breach of fiduciary duties, unjust enrichment, and civil conspiracy, defended governmental agencies in breach of contact actions, and represented financial institutions in matters related to foreclosures.
Nabila graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law Center. During law school, Nabila dedicated significant time to public service, interning at Broward Legal Aid’s Mission United Veterans Pro Bono Project and RISE project. Prior to graduating, Nabila was the President of Public Interest Law Society, and Student Assistant to the Pro Bono Department at NSU. Nabila was a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade Florida Department of Children's and Families, Children’s Legal Services, and an Associate Attorney at Children’s Legal Services, where she advocated for the safety, well-being, and permanency of Florida’s children involved in dependency proceedings.
