Zelle LLP Welcomes Two Attorneys to New York Office
July 1, 2024Kristi L. Gillen and Caroline Hymes have joined Zelle’s New York City office to support its insurance practice.
Gillen, a senior associate, has experience in all phases of dispute resolution including trials, arbitrations and mediations. Kristi’s practice focuses on complex insurance coverage disputes for many of the world’s largest insurance carriers. Prior to joining Zelle, Kristi practiced at insurance defense firms in New York City, focusing on New York Labor Law, construction accident and general negligence matters. She began her legal career in South Florida, working on premises liability and general negligence claims with a focus on first-party property claims. She is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida. Kristi is licensed to practice in New York and Florida.
Hymes, an associate, focuses her practice on litigation surrounding first-party property insurance claims. Her work includes all stages of litigation, particularly motion practice, and discovery. Caroline is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Fordham Dispute Resolution Society’s Negotiation Team, and a staff editor on the International Law Journal. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University in History and Political Science, graduating cum laude. Caroline is licensed to practice in New York.
